Incidentally, Emperor Franz Josef I would undoubtedly have selected Kitzbühel as his holiday destination, but with the rather troublesome means of travel over a hundred years ago, he would only make the journey from Vienna to Bad Ischl. »Beautiful hotel - I didn't want to leave. I was lucky to be here on business- fantastic welcome, gorgeous room, comfortable bed, amazing meal in the restaurant and a super experience. Mini bar had free of charge soft drinks, which was great after a long day. Wifi was great, good toiletries and facilities in the bathroom. There was a spa, which I sadly had no time to use, but the basket including towels to take to the spa was a nice touch and there were robes/ slippers for guests to use«

»This hotel is amazing. Right underneath the gondola and across the street from Kinderland, this hotel is really in the perfect location. And all the boutiques of Kitzbuhel are a short walk away. The Kaiserhof is truly a special hotel with great service, delicious breakfast and if you eat at the restaurant, really good food. They have a sauna, work out room, kids play room, pool, and a ski storage room. They also have free non-alcoholic beverages in your room that’s replenished every day. We stayed during Christmas and were surprised with a bottle of champagne, toys, a candle and cookies. Such a nice touch.

»Charming hotel right by the gondola. The Kaiserhof deserves its rating. From the warm welcome to the constant service with a smile, it felt like a home away from home. The room was on the warmer side, but that was fixed by opening the windows at night. An excellent buffet, lovey European style spa, and convenient ski room wrap up the top rating for this hotel.«
